Reusable grocery bags and saving money
According to the EPA, more than 380 billion plastic grocery bags are discarded each year in the U.S. For every one reusable bag you bring to the grocery store, an estimated 1,000 plastic bags will not be consumed. Some stores even pay you 5 cents to 10 cents for each reusable bag you bring!
So, bring a reusable tote to the store, or at the very least, reuse those plastic bags.

I bought my sister a set of reusable tote bags that can be rolled up and stored in a small pouch. They're by Envirosax and come in different patterns. Now I have to get some for myself!

2I also have a set from Envirosax and I love them! Several cashiers have commented about how much easier they were to use because there's a loop to hook them on the bag carousel.
